Description
This newest addition to the LIFA product line offers fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy in the range from 0ns up to 1 ms (Phosphorescence). The 'X' represents the extended range of lifetimes that can be resolved when compared to the standard LIFA (0.1 ns - 300 ns). The LIFA-X is the ideal solution for:

Oxygen sensing of biofilms, tissues and cells

Protein-protein dynamics through luminescence resonance energy transfer (LRET), e.g. Tryptophan phosphorescence

Time-gated luminescence imaging (NEW!)
The LIFA-X is compatible with Leica, Nikon, Olympus and Zeiss widefield fluorescence microscopes. The TRiCAM-X modulated intensified CCD camera can also be retro-fitted onto an existing LIFA system. Please read our LIFA-X application notes for more technical information.
